Coin & Note Loading

Coin & Note loaders provide cash ‘top up’ facilities accepting up to eight coin and four note denominations. They benefit from having state of the art MEI note acceptance units which offer incredibly high acceptance rates incomparable to older models.

The unit incorporates a note stacker, lockable note vault and coin box.
The reader display welcomes the card holder on insertion and displays the card balance.

PIN (Payroll Deduction) Loading

PIN loaders provide a convenient and secure ‘cashless’ loading facility linked to payroll deduction. On request by the card holder the PIN loader transfers funds from the user’s payroll to the card, issues receipts and offers a balance check facility.

Chip & PIN

The VMC Metro Console enables users to load up their cashless card with funds directly from their debit/ credit card.  Accepting Visa, MasterCard and American Express the Metro Console has a recessed PIN pad to keep your PIN hidden whilst it is being entered.  

The process is operated from an easy to use touchscreen menu, which takes the user through the steps quickly and easily.  At the end of the transaction a receipt is available.

It is possible to combine all your loading needs into the Metro Console with the addition of a note loader.  This add on unit is simply attached to the bottom or the side of the console making it a one-stop shop for topping up your Metro cashless card.

With our partner Pay24-7 VMC provides an innovative solution enabling users to load value to their cashless payment card via a credit/ debit card transaction over the internet.

As well as potentially reducing the costs of loading infrastructure the solution provides users with the opportunity of loading funds remotely, an extremely attractive factor, in particular for parents and guardians.

Salary Sacrifice

Salary sacrifice is a tax efficient way of an employer providing a benefit and an employee receiving it. The essence of Salary Sacrifice is that a set amount of annual salary is forfeited in return for a benefit from the employer, and in so doing "saving" the Income Tax and National Insurance that would otherwise be paid on the income.

The VMC Metro Cashless System and Salary Sacrifice

The VMC Metro system is an ideal tool to administer Salary Sacrifice schemes as it gives out the entitlement to benefits in a controlled way, and can ensure that non-eligible purchases are automatically excluded from the scheme (eg by barring purchases of ineligible products by the Salary Sacrifice purse) thus avoiding potentially expensive and aggravating claims for back tax on the employee and employer.

Visitor Terminal

The Metro Visitor Card terminal is a ‘total’ smartcard management solution providing 24-hour visitor card dispensing facilities. Cards returned to the terminal are collected and any remaining balances are refunded. The terminal is configurable to manage card deposits and card return ‘timeout’ restrictions.

The terminal can also function as a note only loading terminal for staff with the objective of reducing the amount of equipment required on site.
