VMC at Vendex, The Retail Technology Show & The Workplace Event 2026
Over the past few months, we’ve had the opportunity to attend and exhibit at several key industry events across retail, vending, and workplace technology. These exhibitions continue to be a great opportunity to connect with operators, partners, and customers while keeping up to date with the latest trends shaping the industries we support.
First up we were proud to exhibit again at Vendex Midlands and have some fantastic conversations with operators and partners across the vending and unattended retail industry.
One of the biggest talking points was how the conversation around cashless payments has evolved. It’s no longer simply “do I need to add cashless?” the focus is now on what a payment solution can offer beyond the transaction itself.
The event gave us a great opportunity to showcase why VMC are the right choice for operators, providing agnostic hardware solutions backed by years of industry expertise. This allows us to help customers identify the right solution for their unique operational challenges.

At the Retail Technology Show, we were proud to support the Advantec AURES stand and showcase how we are powering self-service kiosks for retail using Advantech AURES hardware across both front and back of house operations.
It was great not only to meet visitors on the stand, but also to spend time walking the show floor having valuable conversations with suppliers, partners, and existing retail clients. Events like this are always a great opportunity to strengthen relationships, catch up on industry developments, and explore how we can continue adding value for our customers.

Most recently we attended The Workplace Event as visitors this year and found it incredibly valuable for understanding current trends across workplaces.
With over 35 years of experience delivering closed loop payment solutions into workplace facilities, it’s always important for us to understand where the market is heading and how our Flex solution can continue evolving to align with the changing needs of the industry.
It was particularly interesting to see how flexible workplace technology and integrated catering and vending solutions are continuing to develop, creating new opportunities for businesses looking to improve employee and visitor experiences.
Looking Ahead
In summary, there is nothing quite like getting out there and talking to people face to face. There is real value in attending, exhibiting, and partnering at industry events to get the most out of these shows.
