VMC shortlisted for 4 awards at The Vendies 2024
We’re very happy to announce that we’ve been shortlisted in 4 categories in this year’s Vendies Awards run by Vending International Magazine.
Best Payment System
Our versatile payment system VMC Flex is a winner in our eyes! Offering the ultimate choice and flexibility to operators by allowing them to pick and choose exactly which features they want rather than having to settle for an off-the-shelf solution.
Flex offers a range of payment options, including open contactless, mobile payments, cashless closed-user cards and QR code payment in the VMC App. It can also be integrated beyond just vending, enabling operators to add other site facilities into their payment scheme – such as catering, parking, printing, laundry and more. Best Vending Project
We’re super proud of this unique project that we recently completed with Waitrose. This innovative solution has now been rolled out across all their UK stores and it’s great to see it in action and making a difference.
It employs our Flex technology in a completely new way, helping the client to manage an important loyalty benefit for their membership customers (vending a free hot drink) and at the same time saving them costs on staffing and helping them to reduce waste by moving away from single use cups.
Customer Service Award
We think the VMC Operations team deserve some proper recognition as much of the work they do is in the background of our projects, so we put them forward for this award again this year.
This small team of dedicated individuals are at the beating heart of the customer journey at VMC, owning all parts of the process from the moment a project begins right through to launch and beyond, and offering ongoing support whenever our clients need it.
Woman Of The Year (Supplier)
Once again our very own Jill Bode is a finalist in the Woman of The Year category. Jill has had a bumper year of projects here at VMC and been promoted to Operations Director, so it was only right to shine a light on her amazing efforts once more!
Jill plays a pivotal part in most of our internal service processes, leading and co-ordinating our teams on the road who make things happen. 20+ years of service with VMC makes her a true veteran of the vending industry with a knowledge base that is hard to beat.
It’s great to see the VMC team get some much-deserved recognition, we wish them and all the other finalists the best of luck at the awards ceremony in June. We’ll keep you posted 🤞
